David Madden is an experienced finance leader in the biotech industry, providing productive and forthright insight and analysis.  He is a collaborator with scientific founders, investors, the rest of the management team, and staff to create and implement development strategies.  Over the past decade, he worked primarily in concurrent part-time roles, and he is now primarily in full-time positions.

David brings the knowledge and perspective that comes from working in a variety of industries, including power and life sciences.  His depth of knowledge also comes from international experience in Europe, Australia and Asia, and from work in companies of various sizes, including a virtual start-up, a small developer, a large gas and electric utility, and a multinational corporation.

Work in corporate finance has included:

• Acquisitions ranging from $12M to $2.5B with post-merger integration
• Business development including legal settlements, collaborations, and investments in power generation facilities
• A variety of transactions in life sciences and power
